Unboxing The Underclub for July 2022

We have reached the second full week of the month and subscription boxes are starting to arrive. The first to arrive is The Underclub. I love this subscription for its size inclusivity, they go from XS to 4X I believe. There is also no upcharge for larger garments. All of their sizes are the same. It is also the same in the store too. You don’t have to go off to some small dark corner or their on-line store where a few items marked plus sized live, often with an extra charge for the size increase. Nope, the whole website features everything in every size.

I also love the underwear and the quality of it.

I am on the Underclub’s one pair per month plan for $15. They have different tiers where you can receive more pairs and possibly even a bralette. For me one pair is plenty. I love having pretty underwear. I know that may sound a bit strange to say. But I have started loving it more as I have been working out more.

Here’s the thing, when I wear pretty underwear I feel confident and pretty. It doesn’t matter what else is going on. It is an instant confidence boost. It doesn’t require anyone else to see it. I know it and it makes me feel good. It always has. when working out, it is best to wear plain cotton undergarments that have few if any embellishments. when lace becomes sweat soaked it can turn into sand paper really fast. There is exfoliation and then there is lace burn around the legs of your bikini underwear. Not fun, recommend avoiding.

Also there is the extra laundering of workout underwear. I put it on to work out. I finish the work out and it, along with my other work out clothes, go into the laundry, a fresh pair of underwear going on with the rest of the post shower clothing. So work out underwear needs to take a beating.

There is something magical about coming out of a post work out shower and putting on a nice, lacy pair of underwear. It feels like a reward for putting in the effort. As silly as that sounds, it is my daily reward to myself. and when you are doing long haul weight loss those little rewards come in very handy.

But lets look at this month’s pair. The photos wash out the color a little bit but this pair is a light blue lace. They are bikini style and have a scalloped lace edge. I love the look of a scalloped lace edge. I have to admit it.

As always I inspected the pants when they arrived, looking for loose strings and missed stitches. There were none, I then sent them through the wash and inspected again. Still no problems. These are very well constructed garments. This pair has an added cut out detail in the back. For some reason the last few pairs I’ve received have had this. I’m guessing it is a popular design. I have to admit I like it more for practicality than looks (although it does look nice). Some of my lacier underwear can be hard at first to tell which is front and which is back. These you can tell the difference blindfolded.

And while i don’t take my shower blindfolded sometimes I don’t have my contacts in while in the shower so orientation by touch can be somewhat important. (Because a lot of my exercise is outside sometimes sweat mixed with sunscreen can cloud up my contacts, so I take them out for cleaning or replacement before the shower, in case you ae wondering).

I really like this pair and all told The Underclub is one of my favorite subscriptions. The garments always fit perfectly and they feel good to wear. I have never had a pair that wasn’t worth the subscription fee, and July’s is no exception.

Unboxing the June 2022 Underclub

That’s right, the June subscriptions have started to arrive. Well, the first of the June subscriptions has arrived anyway. And there is no surprise that it is The Underclub. While the Underclub has several different subscription tiers, including one where you can add a matching bralette, I have the single pair for $15 per month tier.

And honestly, I have never regretted it. Every pair I have ever received from them has fit perfectly and has been high quality. And as I have had this subscription for well over a year at this point I can say that the underwear wears well over time. Most of the pairs I have received are still in rotation in my drawer.

The only ones I have had to release from service have been because I lost enough weight to go down a size. My earlier subscriptions were a size larger. While a few of them i can still get by with there were a few styles that just didn’t do well with a smaller me. I’m sure they too would have lasted longer, but they just no longer fit.

I went onto my member page and adjusted my sizing (it took two seconds) and now i am back to the right sized underwear. I know I say this each time this subscription comes in, but one of my favorite things about this subscription (besides getting a fabulous pair of undies each month) is it’s size inclusivity. They have XS and XL (I was a 3X and am now down to a 2X but they go all the way up to 4X) and in their bralettes, their XXL goes all the way up to a 40DD. As I am a 40D this really helps me out.

And, here is the best part. The XL (or XS) aren’t in separate sections. That’s right, you don’t have to go diving into a small section of the site and looking at the limited options that might be available in your size. Both their subscription and their store (where members get 20% off) have every item and style in every size.

I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it is kind of a big deal. Especially in underwear. There are many places that either don’t stock my size apparently in the belief that if you are over a certain size you should just go commando, or it feels like they make the decision about what styles you should like based on only offering you certain styles. which is not only annoying in general when I am trying to shop, but something I also find very condescending. After all the general public isn’t going to even see my underwear, why should they get a say in what type i should wear?

So the fact that The Underclub is so size inclusive means that this is a subscription (and store) I really enjoy. Plus I love pretty underwear. If I am wearing pretty underwear, I feel pretty. And I know some people use that as date underwear, but let me tell you pretty underwear has helped me feel better about even bad work meetings with overbearing bosses. Just knowing I am wearing it makes me feel good. And sometimes that little boost can really help.

And June’s pair is very pretty. I am really happy it is since it is my Birthday Month and i like thinking that my birth month is special. This month’s selection is a pale pink and is in the style called Lanya Lace Cheeky in Peach Whip. I suppose it could be called peach but I always think of peach as having a little more orange tone to it. This is a delicate pink.

While the color is pretty, I also love the scalloped edges to the lace. For me scalloped edging always makes the underwear feel a little sexier to me. I think partially because my work out undies are all Hanes cotton with the straight edging on the legs. The scalloped edge makes them feel that much different from the work out pears. The lace of these undies are soft and not at all scratchy. The waist band is satin covered elastic that feels quite durable so I am sure it will last just as well as the other pairs I have received.

As always, when i received the subscription, I checked over the pair for loose threads and stitches. I found none, then I sent them through the wash and checked again. Again, there were no problems. And yes I know it sounds like a little much, but I just can’t shake my grandmother’s voice from my head. She always did the same thing and I find that even though she is long gone, it is still habit and I am unable to resist checking them again for loose threads after the first wash. It was her quality check system. And it has become mine.

The Underclub passed. I’ve never had a pair from them that didn’t.

This month’s selection is perfect for me to celebrate my birthday month. They are pretty and I will feel pretty this month when I wear them. And in addition, I will feel pretty many more months to come as they continue through my rotation.

Unboxing The Underclub for May 2022

The Underclub has been one of my favorite subscriptions. For $15 per month you receive one pair of luxury underwear. There are different tiers of course, different prices and one I think where you receive three pairs a month. There is even a new bralette subscription available. For me, the one new pair a month is absolutely perfect. It is a once a moth treat but I never feel like it is too much.

Many of you may realize that thee was not an unboxing posted for April. It isn’t because I took a month off, it is because my subscription was never sent. Apparently the package was never picked up. So I am trying to work that out with The Underclub. I know they are changing over their website at the moment and I think because of this communication is slow, but it is progressing. I will keep you posted on how that plays out.

One of the reasons that I adore The Underclub is that they are very size inclusive. They have the extra small sizes as well as the much larger ones and it is easy to adjust the sixing of your subscription. I went from a 3X down to a 2X and it was just a few clicks and the changes were made. I also like that everything comes in this wide size range. You can go on find something you like in the main store and not be shunted off to a small plus sized section with a limited amount of products. And they have some adorable things in their on-line shop in addition to their subscriptions (members get a discount of course.) Some of their sleepwear and cami sets are just fabulous.

This month’s pair of undies comes from their own line of underwear (The Underclub brand). They do have other brands as well. I really like the quality of the Under club pieces. As usual. I opened the subscription as soon as it came. The package is a simple plastic mailer that easily fits in the mailbox. After opening I inspected for loose threads and pulled stitches. I found none. Then it went in the wash and after coming out, I inspected it again, still no pulled threads or dropped stitches.

This set is a lovely deep purple with a really nice pattern to the lace. The material itself is whisper soft and the underwear fits perfectly. (the lace is also see through, which is why there are no try on pictures, I love you but there are limits to photos I am willing to post). The waistband is fitting but not too tight and it falls in just the right place to be comfortable wearing all day. There is a little cut out in the back as an added decorative element. I think it looks nice which is a good thing as I have seen this detail appear more and more lately. Over all I am very pleased with this set and am already looking forward to next month.

Of course hopefully April will get sorted and that will be here as well. I will definitely keep you updated on the customer service and missing subscription replacement policy. As they have been really good with everything else I am interested to see how that works out. For now, I am enjoying May’s subscription and happy to keep the Underclub subscription in general.

February with The Underclub

That’s right my darlings, it is the first subscription arrival of the month. And it is hands down one of my favorites. The Underclub has several tiers, some of them including multiple pairs of undergarments each month and of course their website sells fantastic sets, not just of underwear but pajamas and Cami sets as well. Everything I have ever received from them whether it is a bralette and undie set or a camisole and short set (which is my favorite pair of summer weight pajamas actually) has been of excellent quality. Plus it is size inclusive so you can go on their site, go into their on-line store and everything will come in your size, from XS to XXXL. It is amazing.

I know i say that pretty much every month when this subscription arrives, but it is still one of my favorite points about the subscription. Pretty undies make me feel confident no matter what situation I am in. Underwear shopping often makes me feel bad about myself because I don’t look like the model wearing the underwear (and never will even i I did lose all of my extra weight). Even when I was in the best shape of my life I never felt that I lived up to the models pictured. And quite honestly that sucks. And I hate that part. You shouldn’t have to go through self torture just to acquire something that makes you feel confident.

And so I really love this subscription. I can shop on their site and not be shunted off to a small corner where the plus sizes live. So I will probably continue to praise them for that every month.

And then there is the underwear. Thus far in over a year of membership, I have not gotten a pair of undies from The Underclub that I haven’t liked. Some I naturally like better than others, naturally. But I have liked them all. Sometimes for different reasons. Last month for example, it was a plain black pair of bikinis in a soft material. It looked pretty average, but then (after washing) I put them on and they are hands down the most comfortable pair of bikini undies that I own. And I kind of want them in every color.

The subscription tier I am on is $15 per month and in general they ship out at the first of the month and arrive by the seventh. The subscription renews on the 11th of the month (So you pay for February January 11th). Due to the postal service being a little slower than usual (for obvious and understandable reasons) The Under Club seems to be mailing their subscriptions out sooner than usual. This actually showed up in my mailbox on February 3rd. which is pretty early for them. I’m not going to complain though. Earlier isn’t a bad thing.

But shall we look at what came in this month’s subscription? As always February they seem to go a little extra fab. This was no exception. It is a set of burgundy lace bikinis with a lovely keyhole detail in the back. The lace is soft and done in an almost floral print (it looks like leaves). Around the legs the material is beautifully scalloped.

As is typical for me, I inspected the set when it came in and found no loose strings or missed stitches. I then put them through the wash and inspected again. Still fabulous. And the fit is absolutely perfect.

I have had to adjust my sizing before. I was wearing a 3X and then I lost enough weight to go down to a 2X. Changing the sizing was super easy. It was just two button clicks on my account and it was done. They have a really great sizing guide on their site and their measurements are pretty accurate. Plus nothing I’ve received has shrunk in the wash so it remains fabulous.

I have to say I am very pleased with the burgundy color as well. In February pinks and reds abound. I like both, but there is something just a little classier about the burgundy. And by a strange coincidence I actually have a bra that matches. It is the same color exactly but the lace has a slightly different detail. Still it looks like a nice set together. Pretty underwear is a confidence boost. A matching set of undies is like confidence boosting battle armor.

At least in my world.

I am personally thrilled with this month’s Underclub Selection and plan to keep this subscription going for a long time to come. It is a once a month treat whose value far outstrips it’s cost.

The Underclub arrives for January 2022

That’s right the first of the January subscriptions has arrived. And no surprise it is the Underclub. This month they actually mailed the subscription early to make up for postal delays. That’s right, I received an e-mail notification and tracking number December 28th. Oh yeah, they saw the swamped post offices and the upcoming New Year’s Holiday and mailed out their subscription a couple of days early to make up for it.

Is it any wonder they are one of my favorite subscriptions?

well that and their size inclusivity and great underwear. I will say that this month’s selection does not photograph well. Which is a shame. As always when I receive my selection, I look it over to check the quality. As always The Underclub passed with no loose strings and no missed stitches. I know, to some that sounds bizarre, but it is part of how my grandmother taught me to shop for clothing. Any garment, from undies to winter wear parkas, had to have the stitching studied before a purchase decision could be made.

I still find myself unable to stop myself from checking the stitching on ever garment that comes into my house. The Underclub passed and went off to the wash before it could be worn. Because again, as per grandmother’s edict, no clothing can be worn until it has first been washed. I once asked her why. Her eyebrows (plucked to thin little arches and mostly the product of an eyebrow pencil) shot up to her hairline and her eyes went wide.

To this day I am uncertain what unspeakable evil she thinks goes on in the packaging department, but I wash my clothes before wearing them, just in case.

Not that I suspect The Underclub of unspeakable evil. Quite the contrary. I think they are quite fabulous. This months selection (from the $15 per month category of their subscription service) looks very plain in the photograph. It is simple black material with a silkier black edging on the outer edges. Nothing very earth shattering. However once on, they fit perfectly and are perhaps the most comfortable set of undies I have put on in a long time.

I recently changed the size of my monthly selection as I lost enough weight to go down a size. (The changing of the sizes was super easy. Two clicks on the account page and I was done. Also their size guide has always been spot on for me.) And these fit me absolutely perfectly. They may not be the fanciest set in the drawer, but I am thrilled to have them. They look nice on, they have a classic appeal with no frills. I like the look of the black on black design actually. It is a subtle, understated difference that appeals to me. But it is the comfort that has this month’s Underclub selection doing a lap in the winner’s circle. This is a set I will truly enjoy wearing for a long time to come.

Unboxing The December Underclub Subscription

Happy Monday morning my darlings. While I would much rather be lounging in bed for a few more hours to catch up on the sleep that eluded me in the night, I am very happy that one of my favorite subscriptions has arrived in my mailbox. It is The Underclub. While there are several tiers to suit your needs and desires. They have a subscription with one pair or three pairs sent monthly or they have two tiers based on the value of the undergarments that you want. You can even get a set with the bralette if you wanted.

I decided that one pair of new undies per month was suitable for me and that I was comfortable with the $15 price range. So that is the one I receive each month. I love that it is always a flat $15. There is no additional tax or shipping added to it. it is just $15. In addition all of the pieces I have received (whether as part of a subscription or as an item ordered from their store) have been of excellent quality.

While I love getting new underwear, mostly because I know that no matter what else is going on, I know I feel pretty when I have pretty underwear on, even if no one else sees them, pretty underwear is not always the easiest to find in my size. It is as though if you don’t fit a certain size profile then the clothing industry declares your undergarments must be boring and plain.

I am on the larger side, but The Underclub is size inclusive in both directions. They have sized up to 4X and down to XS. And if you have an issue with the size you are currently wearing it is simple to adjust your membership to the correct size. They provide a size guide to their garments and it is an accurate guide. Everything I have ordered has fit with their size guidelines. For me, as I am slowly chipping away at my weight, I had to recently change my sizing as I dropped a size. I went form a 3X to a 2X and adjusted my membership with two clicks. Now everything is back to fitting as it should. (even if I must retire a few of my earlier subscription items. They are still in good shape, they are just a little too large for me to wear anymore.

With the size change, the subscription is back to fitting me perfectly and this month is no exception.

This month is a lavender polka dotted set in the bikini style. The dots are solid, but the rest of the set is see through, hence no photos of me wearing them. As always I inspected them before and after washing (I always wash before I wear). There were no missed stitches or loose threads. The garment was of good quality. While rumpled from shipping, the rumples fell out in the wash. The fit was perfect and I really like the color.

For me, it was another win from The Underclub. At the moment they have delightful holiday styles (and sales) going on in their store. The new December styles look really good. There is a teal set I have my eye on actually. I’m going to make sure all of the final last minute holiday items are paid for before I go shopping though. Then I am going to look at a new set for New Years. I just need to order them soon. Although even though it is the holidays, The Underclub has been really good at getting things shipped out in a timely manner. Thus far, I have been impressed with them in the shipping department, as well as everywhere else. At the moment, they are the most reliable subscription I have. And one I definitely plan to keep well into the new year.

The Underclub November 2021 Unboxing

That’s right my darlings, it is time for the unboxing of one of my favorite subscriptions. I have to say i am very surprised this month. The Underclub charges for it’s subscriptions on the 11th of the month and generally ships out on the first. Even with all of the insanity that is the postal service at the moment, the arrival of the subscription has not really changed. Generally it arrives around the seventh of the month.

And in case you are wondering, I do keep a chart of my subscriptions. I record the cost, when it charges, when it ships, when it arrives and how long I have a commitment to the subscription (i.e. month to month, three month, six month, a year). I also make notes about why and when I cancel things in case I go back later. I know it sounds a bit extra, but it really keeps me from forgetting what charges are going to hit my bank when. And once set up it is not much effort to update as the year goes by. I’ll be setting up 2022’s chart in December once I decide what subscriptions are following me into the new year.

But details, aside, it means that I know The Underclub subscription has arrived at the same time each month regardless of outside forces. Interestingly enough though, around the fifteenth of October I received a message from the Underclub saying they were working on shipping delays and actually working to get ahead of them. So I expected that I would be getting November’s subscription a little late. while they have been spot on with their shipping and arrivals, they have gotten a bit random with their e-mail notification of tracking info.

In fact I haven’t gotten a shipping message this month. I did get my subscription package though, right on time, on the seventh as always. It did come in a different mailer though. This month instead of the pinkish mailer emblazoned with the word Underclub, it came in a slightly smaller black plastic mailer. Underclub was still on the shipping label, but not the mailer itself. Personally I am fine with it. And if they need to switch up mailers to keep getting the subscription to me on time, I am perfectly comfortable with that.

I am actually relieved that the shipping is still on point for the brand as i just took a peek at their holiday sets and want to place an order. I have every confidence I can do so and have it arrive in a timely fashion. (And since I actually want the set as part of my New Year’s planning, I have some time.) And the sets are adorable. As always the trick for me is not finding one I want but narrowing it down because they have so many I want.

It is a wonderful feeling to have. The brand is size inclusive so not only does their subscription have a wide range to choose from, but in their store, everything has the same wide range. There is no perusing of their offerings, finding one you like and then finding it does not come in your size. Everything comes in that wide range of sizes. I know I’ve said it before and will probably say it again, but i love going on the site and looking around knowing that I don’t have to find the small section of plus sized items lurking somewhere other than the home page.

That just makes me feel good. And really, you should feel good when shopping for underwear.

But we are here to look at this month’s subscription. And it is really pretty this month. I know the camera washed the color out a bit, but it is a lovely lavender with a soft lace front and a solid lavender back. I love the scalloped detail at the top of the waist. It just really makes the set.

Oddly, I am extra excited for this set because we have seen the design appear in the subscription before. I received a pair exactly like this in black about eight months ago. It was very comfortable to wear, the lace soft against the skin. It also wore very well. After eight months in rotation it still looks as good as it did when it arrived. It is actually one of my favorite pairs actually. It has only one issue.

Size.

Recently I actually lost enough weight that I had to go onto the Underclub site and alter my subscription going from a 3X to a 2X. Mostly because I noticed my underwear getting a little loose. I went down a size and now each set I receive once again fits me perfectly. Unfortunately it means that the lovely pair of black undies in this style is now a little on the loose side. So I am thrilled to have the same style in lavender. I think that because they changed the color, I don’t have an issue with the repeat style. Part of that is because it is a lovely looking style that is super comfy to wear and part of that is that I am moving to a point where I can’t actually wear the other pair.

But even with those asides, I am okay with the repeat style since it is in a different color. It is also the only style repeat I have ever had from them. I wouldn’t want to see a trend, but I am okay with it this time. Plus it really is an easy to wear style. I am as always, happy with my subscription. It is one I don’t even have to think about when planning my subscriptions for the new year. This one is definitely going with me into 2022. While I highly recommend this subscription for anyone looking to grow their underwear collection, r just try something new and surprising, I also recommend the store. They have way more than just underwear in their collection. In addition to underwear and bralettes (as well as sets) they have camisoles and lovely pajama sets. Everything I have ever had from them has been of excellent quality and wears quite well in addition to looking pretty. And truthfully, if you have ever had issues with websites not having a lot of items in your size, it is just a fun site to flip through. There is something utterly delightful in looking through a website and just knowing that if you decide you like something, it will be available in your size. It is just a fantastic feeling and one I think everyone should have the pleasure of indulging in.

Unboxing The Underclub for October 2021

Okay today is a very special unboxing. Or technically unbagging, since my Underclub subscription always arrives in a slim mailer. You know I love the Underclub. For those who don’t know it is an underwear subscription. For $15 you receive a pair of underwear each month. They are always high quality and wear well.

In general I love this subscription because I always feel pretty if I am wearing pretty undies. It doesn’t matter what else is going on. My mascara can be smeared and my hair standing up at crazy angles, but as long as I have pretty underwear on, I feel pretty. So I always love getting a new pair.

I also love that they are size inclusive and their sizes range from XS to 4X. And that in their store every item comes in that size range. There is no wondering if the item you like is actually made for your size. It is. Always. Every item. Not just some small section of the store where there are fewer options.

I find this fabulous.

This month my Underclub subscription came with an extra card. In addition to the card they send each month reminding me that I am fabulous (which quite honestly sometimes just really makes my day) There was another card.

Tops Off with Underclub. The card is for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and comes with an astonishing quote from Johns Hopkins Medical Center. While you may or may not be able to read it on the photo, I’ll list it out again here. “40% of diagnosed breast cancers are detected by women who feel a lump.”

On the back of the card is a set of helpful drawings to show you some things you need to look out for. Also for every instagram tagged with the The Underclub will donate $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

However now it is on to the October selection. And here I have something fabulous as well. Last month my selection was slightly too large for me. It was, actually not the subscriptions fault. I actually lost enough weight that I wend down a size in my underwear. So I popped onto the site, logged into my account and with a few clicks changed the sizing. So this month’s pair is one size lower and I am happy to report, it fits perfectly.

Of course I didn’t wear them right away. I took them out of the package, inspected them for loose strings and missed stitches (I found none) and then I sent them through the wash. Once washed and dried, I looked them over again before trying them on.

They fit perfectly and are quite comfy. This pair is called The London Hipster in Porcelain. It is a light pink and while the crotch has a cotton lining, the rest of the set is a net fabric. The front has an almost transparent liner between your body and the net fabric, the rear does not. While I like them. I kind of wish the transparent material was over the back as well. I have another pair of undies in this fabric, Also from the brand MOD like these.

While they are super comfy if I wear them at the desk all day when I take them off to get in the shower at night, my behind is somewhat textured from the netting. This took me aback the first time I wore them sitting in a chair all day. I didn’t feel the netting all day so I wasn’t expecting it. I just would like the liner on the rear as well.

Otherwise, I really like this pair. They have a cute edging around the waistband and they fit exactly as I like underwear to fit. I love that changing the size was so easy and I am especially tickled that the smaller size fits me perfectly. That fact is going to keep me smiling for the rest of the day.

Unboxing the July 2021 Underclub Subscription

That’s right my darlings my July Underclub subscription has arrived. It is always the first of the monthly subscriptions to reach me and personally I love the kick off it gives to the month. I have always been a fan of pretty underwear. No matter what else I am wearing or what else I am doing, it makes me feel pretty when I wear nice undergarments and that in turn makes me feel more confident.

As you know I love subscriptions of all varieties and I looked into a bunch of Underwear subscriptions. The underclub was the most size inclusive. It has sizes running from extra small to triple X and has a wide variety of styles. I have never been disappointed in the quality. While there are several subscription tiers to choose from the one I subscribe to is the $15 per month level. There is no tax or shipping, it is a straight $15 fee and for this I receive one pair per month.

This month was a pair of soft pink boy shorts. As always they come in a discrete pink mailer and inside have a second plastic bag containing the underwear. I really like the thought of my underwear being twice bagged. I still wash it before wearing it the first time, but I like the double bagging nonetheless. I always check the garment for loose strings or missed stitches both before and afte wearing and I have to say, I haven’t found a single one yet.

In addition the pairs from previous months are still wearing well. While I like adding underwear to my collection, one pair a month is about all I need to feel special but not feel overwhelmed. This soft pink pair is a nice color and a great fit. it is plain this month with only an understated ‘Underclub’ stitched into the waistband. As the last few months have been on the lacy side, I am happy to have a pair that looks a little more sporty. I am certain I will get a lot of use out of them.

Once again, I am pleased with the month’s selection and thrilled to maintain my subscription. I also love that my subscription gives me a members discount in The Underclub store. There they sell not only the individual underpants, but they sell multiple packs, bralettes, sets and even a some shorts and cami sets.

I have a set with the bralette and matching underpants and the bralette is just as good a quality and wears just as well. And they are as size inclusive with everything on their site. There is no wondering if a particular item comes in your size as everything comes in a wide variety of sizes. If you aren’t a ‘perfect’ size – not that perfect actually exists, but you know what I mean – you can still shop in their main store without being shunted off to a small corner with fewer options.

It is one of the things that brings me back to the site time and time again, even just to window shop. It makes me feel good to know that every option I see, is an option I can order. They add new items to their story just about every month. The current new item is Eco lace, Lace made from recycled fibers. The Underclub June 2021 Unboxing

The first of the June Subscriptions has arrived. I love that The Underclub is always the first subscription to come in each month, at least for me. It always feels like a little something fabulous to get the month started on a good note.

For those that don’t know, The Underclub is an underwear subscription. They have several tiers, I am in the single pair for $15 per month category. I felt that for me, one new pair of undies per month was just about perfect.

I actually chose this subscription for several reasons. The first is that I just flat out love pretty undergarments. I really do. And to be honest, my love of pretty underwear has nothing to do with anyone else. I have always felt that if I am wearing pretty undergarments I feel pretty. I has nothing to do with anyone else opinion or appealing to anyone else. It just makes me feel pretty and more self confident if I know I am wearing pretty underwear.

Silly? Maybe. But it doesn’t stop it from being true.

As I gained weight I found that undergarments became a little less cute and a little more utilitarian. Not that there weren’t attractive larger garments out there, I just didn’t seek them out. It was almost as though I felt because I didn’t look how I wanted to look I didn’t deserve the pretty underwear. And while it is not a good attitude to have, it is sadly an attitude that does have a lot of external reinforcement.

When I started on a healthier journey, more than weight loss and healthy diet and exercise, I had to get a healthy mind set and reexamine a lot of my behaviors and reflections. I knew that pretty underwear made me feel more self confident, yet when I looked in my underwear drawer there was not a lot of pretty going on.

So I decided to change that.

Since I love subscriptions I went looking for an underwear subscription and The Underclub is the most size inclusive of the subscriptions I looked at. The diversity appealed to me and I have to say thus far, the underwear has not disappointed.

The subscription comes in a light pink mailer and inside the undergarments are enclosed in a separate internal bag. While I still wash them before wearing them, I love that they are so contained. I know I generally tend to reduce waste, but this is one instance where I am fine with a little extra packaging.

Once opened, I have to say, I very much like the pair that came this month. They are a bikini cut (you can choose the cut of underwear you prefer from their list – I said anything but thong so mine varoes a bit). They are black satin with a lace front. The lace front has a lovely scalloped top edge instead of just a straight line of elastic which I think makes them look just a little more special. It is a really nice detail. The lace is super soft, which I love, because let’s face it no one wants scratchy lace on their underwear.

As always I found no loose strings or slipped stitches when I first inspected them. They went from the mailer into the wash and came out with no loose threads or stitches. And of course the creases from being folded in the packaging fell out in the wash so they looked even better.

As always, the fit was perfect.

They are beautiful and comfortable to wear.

I was very happy with the set I received. The quality is always there, the materials are always good and quite frankly I have never had any complaints with the product. They always mail out the subscription either the first or second of the month and then charge you for the upcoming month on the 11^th. (so June 11^th I will pay for July’s subscription).

The closest thing to an issue I have had with this subscription is they were late sending the e-mail with the tracking number. But this month that might just be because the post office was quick with the delivery. Usually my Subscription arrives around the 7^th. This month, the subscription arrived on June 4^th and the e-mail with the tracking number arrived in my inbox on the 5^th.

Which quite frankly isn’t that big a deal.

Or even really a problem.

I really do enjoy this subscription and quite frankly I love the collection of underwear I am building. I am always delighted to reach into my underwear drawer and pull out one of the pairs I received from the Underclub. These are items that I can consistently reuse and honestly bring me joy for months after I receive them.

In addition to the subscriptions, they have a lovely on-line store that they are consistently adding to. Not only are they nice to look at, but I love the fact that every garment they have listed comes in my size. I know that doesn’t sound like a big deal but it kind of is. There are so many websites where I know my size for their items, however the items they produce in my size are extremely limited.

The Underclub has all of their items in their wide range of sizes from the extra small to the extra large and everything in between. So when I look for garments I am not shunted off to a small little section of the site and given a limited number of options. With The Underclub I can just go to their main site and look around knowing that if I fall in love with something they will have it in my size.

I absolutely love that.

I also like many of their items. I am still loving the pink and red valentine’s day set (underpants and bralette) and there are so many more that I love. In fact they recently came out with an elements collection that is absolutely stunning. They have several new sets for June. In addition to underwear they have several sleep wear sets. I am personally eying the Room Service Short Sleeve PJ set. In the summer time I like to sleep in sleep shorts and those look absolutely adorable. I suspect that I may be treating myself to an early Birthday present. My Birthday is at the end of June, but they have quite the Summer Sale going on right now. So it is a good time to stock up.

The PJ set I want is actually a part of the box and I am trying to decide if I want to go ahead and just get the whole box. It is very tempting. I may have to look at the budget and see.
